An intake that takes the GDPR seriously

Record injuries and limitations without the risk

A good trainer wants to know whether someone has a knee injury or has had a herniated disc. But health data is special category personal data, and stricter rules apply. This is not legal advice; for your own situation, contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Consent first

In GymPilot, an intake can only be saved with the member's explicit consent, or a parent's for members under sixteen. The date and the version of the consent text are recorded.

Only for those who need it

Intakes have their own permission, separate from training schedules. The overview shows no contents, and every time someone opens an intake, it is logged.

No longer than necessary

Twelve months after the last training schedule, GymPilot deletes the intake automatically. Members can also withdraw consent themselves; the intake is then gone immediately.
